The final film in this ongoing trilogy, Halloween ends arrives in ET Peacock theaters on October 14and Empire Review shared a bloody new image with us today.

Plus, Empire shares some insights from the director David Gordon Green this morning. It’s worth noting that he tells Empire that the movie ends, well, it’s still evolving.

It changes every day“, Gordon Green told the outlet. “In theory the picture is locked, but this morning I called the editor and said, ‘What if we did this one thing…’ I speak with John [Carpenter] and Jamie Lee Curtis talk about it regularly. It’s exciting, uncertain, satisfying and sad. Enjoyed the ride but it’s probably time to get off. I think we’ll go out with a bang.”

Nick’s Castlethe original Michael Myers, had recently noted that Halloween ends will be a “surprising” conclusion to David Gordon Green’s trilogy, while effects makeup artist chris nelson similarly teased that the third installment of the trilogy is “strange” and “different”. And John Charpentier also called the new film a “starter” in a recent interview.

Halloween ends will also present the return of Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards like Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney like The Shape/Michael Myers.
