Web series ‘THERAPY’ to screen at American Black Film Festival as Gregg DaCosta sheds light on new film in production

Gregg DaCosta, Producer of THERAPY, is delighted to announce that the web-series will air at the American Black Film Festival scheduled for November 3-28, 2021, also hinting that he will be launching crowdfunding for the production of his new film – Guilty Conscience

The American Black Film Festival is an independent film festival that focuses on films produced or intended for the black community around the world. It takes place every year in November to recognize the works of actors and actresses of African descent and films that depict the black experience. Ahead of this year’s edition of the festival, which will take place from November 3 to 28, 2021, Gregg DaCosta announced that his “THERAPY” web series is among the films to be screened.

“THERAPY”, which stars Giovanni Marine, Julian Kingston, Melissa Sarai and Gregg DaCosta, is a series about multiple issues, including mental health, verbal abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), abuse sex and much more. Millions of people around the world, especially in black communities, live in silence in the face of these problems and Gregg’s “THERAPY” offers insight into these challenges and possible solutions.

Gregg DaCosta hinted at producing a horror / thriller feature film dubbed “Guilty Conscience”. The film is currently in pre-production and is slated for release around the first quarter of 2022. To facilitate funding for “Guilty Conscience,” Gregg DaCosta is reportedly running a crowdfunding campaign so the team can produce the film.
