The Boys star’s new horror flick Smile is getting rave reviews

The boys Jessie T Usher’s Favorite Will Be Thrilled With First Reactions To Her Latest Movie Smile.

Written and directed by newcomer Parker Finn, this supernatural horror centers on Dr. Rose Cotter (13 reasons why‘s Sosie Bacon), who, after witnessing a traumatic incident, begins to experience nightmarish and inexplicable events.

As this overwhelming mystery invades her life, Rose is forced to confront a troubled past in order to escape her new reality.

Usher also stars as Trevor in the film, with a cast that includes Veronique Mars“Kyle Gallner, Neighbors and Reignit is Caitlin Stasey, stranger things“Rob Morgan, and Scrubs“Judy Reyes.

After Smile‘s at Fantastic Fest this week, social media lit up with stunned reactions.

“#SmileMovie builds the tension, then hits with lots of super scares. Awesome to see @ParkerJFinn so good on his first feature. And Sosie Bacon’s career just keeps going up. @fantasticfest,” read one Tweeter.

Polygon editor Tasha Robinson added: “Well, I apologize to the guy sitting next to me at SMILE for the *multiple* times I screamed and jumped during the movie.

Smile opens in UK cinemas on September 28 and two days later in the United States.
