Robert Pattinson Starrer has a decent first week

It’s been a decent first week for The Batman because 33.75 crores* entered. The collections are overall good but the problem is that after seeing 6 crores on the first day, the collections slid to 1.75 crores* the seventh day. While it’s understandable that there would be a drop in a movie’s numbers from opening day, the drop is a little steep here. Ideally, the collections should have remained in the 2.5 to 3 crores worn until the end of the first week.

This is the reason why 50 crores lifespan is now out of the question for The Batman. The best case scenario looks like 45 crores for now and although that’s not bad either, the fact is that expectations were of a higher lifespan of The Batman, given that he belongs to the genre of superheroes that is quite popular in the world.

The Batman should grow again tomorrow and the day after because it’s the best time for this kind of Hollywood movies to score. However, on weekdays the numbers are expected to slide again as long as at least 1 crore come every day of the week until Bachchan Pandey comes out, that would be good.

*Estimates. Final figures expected.

Note: All collections according to production and distribution sources.
