Pawsitive Hearts dog rescue comedy night takes place this Friday

DOWNTOWN ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Pawsitive Hearts Dog Rescue is hosting their very first charity comedy night this coming Friday.

The event will take place at 8 a.m. at Bryan Place in downtown Zanesville, and you should get ready for a good doggone time.

“He’s going to be a hilarious comedian, we’ll have raffles and Pawsitive Hearts merchandise, and all of this will help raise money for our rescue,” said George Walters, secretary and event coordinator for Pawsitive Hearts Dog Rescue.

You can expect to make an entire evening of the event. Each ticket will be $ 15 to attend the comedy show. Interested in a dinner and a show? There is also an optional dinner that you can attend in advance where food and drink will be available for purchase.

“The comedic event part of the night is supposed to last an hour to an hour and a half. Earlier, starting at six o’clock, Bryan Place will also have dinner and drinks will be available at the bar, ”Walters said.

The comedy show and dinner are aimed at raising funds for the Pawisitve Hearts dog rescue so that they can continue and expand their operations and eventually open a physical location to house the animals and provide animal services.
