Lakshya Box Office Predictions: the new avatar of Naga Shaurya to surprise the public

Tollywood’s much-publicized sports drama Lakshya starring Naga Shaurya is hitting theaters soon. Filming on the film began from September 2020 and after on & off production due to the covid-19 pandemic, which interrupts filming, it finally ended on August 30 of this year.

Previously, Lakshya was slated for release in November 2021 but has been delayed for obvious reasons. Recently, the directors announced that the film will be released on December 10, 2021.

It stars Naga Shaurya as Pradhu and Ketika Sharma as Rithika, other actors include Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Satya and Ravi Prakash.

Advance booking for the movie was opened from December 5th and it looks like she’s collecting no vouchers from there. It is directed by Dheerendra Snathossh Jagarlapudi, who also co-wrote the screenplay for the film with Sujanamani.

Lakshya opening day box office predictions

Speaking of his box office collection predictions, Lakshya is releasing on December 10 (Friday), and the good news is that another high profile Telugu sports film (Good Luck Sakhi) starring Keerthy Suresh release date has been postponed to the December 31st.

Therefore, there will be no major competition for the film, Shaurya’s film could earn around Rs 5-7 crore on opening day.

Lakshya Weekend Box Office Collection Predictions

Speaking of his three day weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), if the script for the film is right, he could make around Rs 25-30 crore on the first weekend.

Overall predictions of the Lakshya collection at the box office

Our prediction for Lakshya’s overall weekend box office collection is that it could make around Rs 45 crore given that audiences in South India give an overwhelming response to content-driven films.

It is produced under the production of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas with the collaboration of Northstar Entertainment. Kaala Bhairava provided the music for the film.
