New Delhi: ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ starring Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor is showing a strong hold on the box office. However, things could change with the arrival of Vidyut Jammwal stars “Khuda Hafiz 2” and “Thor: Love and Thunder” which are released this weekend.
According to film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, “Jug Jugg Jeeyo” did very well on the second Monday since its release. This is the second week of box office collection stands at Friday: Rs. 3.03 crore, Saturday: 4.75 crore, Sunday: 6.10 crore, Monday: 1.80 crore, Tuesday: Rs. 1 .75 crores bringing the national total to Rs. 71.09 crores.

‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ has already surpassed Rs. 100 crores at the start of the second week as Kiara Advani herself shared the update on her official Instagram account. Sharing a photo of herself and Varun Dhawan from the film, Kiara captioned it, “100 cr in the world ho gaya Hain 🙏🙏 can’t thank you enough aap sab #jugjuggjeeyo.”
“Jug Jugge Jeeyo” also marks Neetu Kapoor’s return to the big screen after a long time. Fans appreciate Neetu Kapoor’s look and character in the film.
Director Raj Mehta is a family drama that deals with divorce in a family. Varun and Kiara play an on-screen pair going through a divorce while Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor play another pair in the midst of a divorce.
