KGF: Chapter 2 has set new box office records around the world. And the Hindi dubbed version of the film helped a lot with that. The success of the Hindi version of the film is unprecedented. It not only topped Hindi dubbed versions of other Southern films, but even Bollywood blockbusters. On Wednesday, the Hindi version of KGF 2 went through ₹250 crore in box office earnings. By doing so in seven days, it became the fastest Hindi film to hit the mark, beating out other blockbusters like Baahubali: The Conclusion, Dangal and Tiger Zinda Hai. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s box office revenue figures in the Hindi belt through a tweet on Thursday morning. “#KGF2 is the fastest to hit ₹250 cr…Thu 53.95 cr, Fri 46.79 cr, Sat 42.90 cr, Sun 50.35 cr, Mon 25.57 cr, Tue 19.14 cr, Wed 16.35 cr. Total: ₹ 255.05 cr. # Indian Affairs. #Hindi,” his tweet read. The tweet also mentioned that while KGF 2 achieved the feat in seven days, Baahubali 2 took eight days to reach the landmark. Three Hindi films – Dangal, Sanju and Tiger Zinda Hai – are tied for third, having crossed ₹250 crores in 10 days each.

It also means the Yash star has become the third Hindi film to reach this post-pandemic milestone. The only other films to cross ₹250 crores nationwide since the pandemic hit are The Kashmir Files and the Hindi version of RRR. However, both of these films took much longer to hit the mark. Trade analysts estimate that the Hindi version of KGF 2 could end up with a raw lifespan of ₹400 crores
The film’s worldwide gross is expected to cross ₹700 crores when seventh day figures are released later on Thursday. It is expected to exceed ₹1000 crore by the end of the film’s run, which would make it one of the most successful Indian films of all time.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 is a sequel to the Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1. Starring Yash as the lead, the film follows an outsider named Rocky (Yash) who later becomes a dangerous gangster, controlling the mining of gold. empire at Kolar Gold Fields. The film is told from the perspective of journalist-turned-writer Anand Ingalagi (Anant Nag). The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran.
