Southern superstar Chiranjeevi has finally broken his silence on the failure of his recently released film Acharya. The southern industry is growing and thriving with repeated box office successes. Amidst this, the Telugu actor’s film failure was quite troubling to his fans.
The movie was released on April 29, 2022. While fans were super excited to see what the most anticipated southern movie had in store for them, the Chiranjeevi star fell short of their expectations.
Now, in one of his media interactions, Acharya celebrity Chiranjeevi is finally opening up about his disastrous box office performance, the setback it caused him, and how elated moviegoers are. see “good content” in the theater.
When asked to share his perspective while interacting with the media, Chiranjeevi said, “After the pandemic, the number of people coming to cinemas decreased. That doesn’t mean they don’t want to come to the movies. If the content is interesting, they will! Bimbisara, Sita Ramam and Kartikeya 2 are examples. If we don’t focus on the script and the content, people won’t show interest. The philosophy of cinema has changed. Bad films are rejected on the second day of their release. I am one of the victims of this tendency (alluding to the failure of Acharya).
Talking about the movie, as mentioned above, Acharya was released in April. Apart from the Telugu star, his son Ram Charan was also seen playing a pivotal role. Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Nassar, Kishore and Saurav Lokesh were also in the film. The action-drama film was directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Konidela Production Company.
