Stephanie Beatrice and Paul Wesley will star in a horror movie together. According to the deadlineboth were cast in the upcoming movie history of evil.
The film is described as taking place in the near future. It will follow a family fleeing a corrupt state. While hiding, they stay in a safe house that has an evil history. Beatriz is well known for playing Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn nine-nine (which ran from 2013 to 2021). His other previous works include those of 2021 Encanto (directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard), 2018 Half-Magic (directed by Heather Graham), and 2017 moon light (directed by Jessica M. Thompson). Wesley is well known for playing Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries (which ran from 2009 to 2017 on The CW). His other previous works include 2016 mothers and daughters (directed by Paul Dudridge and Nigel Levy), Late flowering (directed by Kevin Pollack), and 2014 Before I disappear (directed by Shawn Christen). Beatriz and Wesley will also serve as executive producers on the film.
The film will be directed by Bo Mirhosseniwho also wrote the screenplay. Jake Siegel will be the producer of the film. history of evil will be produced by XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures. Both production companies have previously worked on 2016’s Under the Shadow (directed by Babak Anvari) and the next Netflix movie I came (also made by Anvari). The film is also part of an agreement between the two companies to make films by directors from groups underrepresented in the film industry.
