The reign of Southern movies and their actors continues to rule the box office. Nikhil Siddharth’s “Karthikeya 2” and Chiyaan Vikram’s “Cobra” are already dominating the box office. Amidst this, Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Sita Ramam’, after creating a ruckus at the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam box office, has now entered the Hindi box office. The film, which was released on Friday, had a disappointing opening day itself. It was unable to cross the Rs 1 crore mark on its opening day. Cobra: Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra movie collection appears to be dropping for the third day in a row. On its first day, Vikram’s film made a bargain of Rs 17.45 crore. It fetched Rs 5.15 crores on the second day, registering a drop of 70%. Meanwhile, according to the figures coming out, the movie only raked in Rs 3.70 crore on the third day. Along with this, Chiyan Vikram’s film earned a total of Rs 26.30 crore in three days.

Karthikeya 2: South Korean actor Nikhil Siddharth’s film “Karthikeya 2” became one of the biggest hits of the year. The film, which gave fierce competition to big budget films like ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Liger’, broke the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office. Talking about the film’s performance in Indian box office, even on the 21st day, Nikhil Siddharth’s film collects more than one crore daily. With that, ‘Karthikeya 2’ revenue crossed Rs 77 crore.

Liger: The state of Vijay Deverakonda’s first Hindi film was worse than Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Liger, which hit theaters in five languages ​​on August 25, earns next to nothing. On the ninth day, this sports drama film collected only Rs 50 lakh, across all languages. Along with this, the film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, was able to make a total revenue of Rs 40.58 crore in nine days.

Sita Ramam: The film by Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur turned out to be a blockbuster in the South. Sadly, it didn’t show anything special at the Hindi box office. Made at a cost of Rs 30 crores, this film fell apart the very day it opened. According to preliminary figures, the film did business of around Rs 70 lakh on its first day.

Brahmastra: Advance booking of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt star – Brahmastra has started.
