Akshay Kumar on the pressures of box office delivery: You want to live a stress-free life


bollywood actor Akshay Kumar needs no introduction as his decades-long career in Bollywood suffices. He made his debut with the 1987 film Aaj and since then he has never looked back. As the superstar prepares for the release of his next film Bachchhan Paandey, he spoke to media personnel about his upcoming plans and the pressures of box office delivery. Note, Bachchhan Paandey also plays Kriti Sanon in the lead role and the film marks their second collaboration.

When asked if he ever felt the pressure to deliver at the box office, the Actor Hera Peri said, “To be honest, I don’t want to be pressured. I want to live a stress free life. I hope the film will work because it is good for the industry. I want every movie to work.

He added, “Gangubai Kathiwadi has come out and is doing well…today we are making all kinds of movies whether they are content, massive and commercial and we have to pray for all movies to perform at the box office. . I’m not one of those people who will sit down and think about what works and what doesn’t. It is important that every film works.

Akshay then said, “The last two and a half years have been very bad, so many burdens and losses. So let’s not analyze much and hope the movies work.

Akshay Kumar also revealed that apart from Bachchhan Paandey, several other movies are also set to release. “I have Bachchhan Paandey to be released on March 18 and then I have five more films that are ready to be released,” he concluded.
