ABN RK writes a lot of things in his daily Andhra Jyothy under his column Kottha Paluku but they are always filled with comedies of errors. He writes lies or becomes biased.
The latest concerns his sarcasm on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. RK says why Jagan Mohan Reddy who grew up overnight cannot build Amaravathi capital. It is true that YS Jagan said he could not. He didn’t make any false promises. He didn’t play with people’s ignorance by showing contrived hype and sticking Singapore’s color to Amaravathi.
Rk’s sarcasm on YS Jagan with the phrase “grow up overnight” raises many eyebrows.
Looking back in AP media history, we can see how many grew overnight and by whose blessing.
How could RK own Andhra Jyothy in the year 2000 when no one came forward to touch it despite government pressure? With what type of agreements RK had the infrastructure worth millions of rupees at the time? How much could he have paid in advance for the leases? Can he explain how he paid for all this? But you don’t have to ask questions. He says it was his ability. This is how he grew as a media baron from a petty journalist.
Well, who was Ramoji before he started Eenadu? He was MD for some small businesses. He took a rental building in Vijayawada. Today it is worth thousands or lakhs of crores.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s story is completely different. He worked as an employee in a press house for a salary of less than Rs 1000. What is his fate now?
Well, we should understand all of this as a simple ability.
We come to Gadde Baburao who migrated to northern Andhra. With the blessing of congressional leaders at the time, he obtained bus permits and then courted NTR to grow as a congressman. Today, its reach is above the clouds.
So the point to note is that the “capacity” is not just Jagan’s property. What was Yanamala Ramakrishnudu’s level when he first became an MP? What could Kinjarapu Yerram Naidu have when he first became an MP? How much did they eventually grow? In fact, this is all just “capacity”.
RK wants to project that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only one to grow up using his father’s power. If so, is Jagan more “capable” than Chandrababu? Babu’s father owned 2 acres of land as many say. Today, Babu is worth thousands of crores.
It is difficult to list the names, but there are many who have earned millions of dollars in property today with the blessing of the NTR government. Many politicians growing up today were accountants, DTP operators and taxi drivers in the past. Well, according to RK, that’s all they can do. If yes, then why only YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should be marked as the one who grew up overnight?
