4 new horror films are coming out this week, including the documentary “Pennywise” on Screambox!

Here’s all the new horror that’s coming between July 26-July 31, 2022!

As mentioned above, SCREAMBOX Original Documentary Pennywise: The History of Computing will begin streaming on Tuesday, July 26, taking an in-depth look at the 1990 miniseries.

More than thirty years after its release, the popular two-part miniseries THIS and its infamous villain live on in the minds of horror fans everywhere. Pennywise: The History of Computingwhich is co-directed by John Campopiano (Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary) and Christopher Griffiths (Leviathan: The Hellraiser Story) and produced by smart gary (Dark Ditties Presents), not only captures the spark THIS saga created when it was released but also the lasting impact it had on an entire generation and the horror genre in general.

Several years in the making, the film features exclusive interviews with many of the cult classic’s key players, cast members Richard Thomas, seth greenand Tim Currywho portrayed the notorious freak clown Pennywise, to director Tommy Lee Wallace and special effects makeup artist Bart Mixon.

The documentary also features a wealth of archival material and never-before-seen footage.

From Saban Films, the horror western black wood also debuts on digital outlets on July 26, said to be “an intense journey into the darkness of the American Old West.”

The film follows a Native American woman and a notorious gang who find they must help each other after awakening an ancient creature.

“A seemingly unstoppable and violent creature stands between a gang of outlaws, a Native American woman and a fortune in gold in the terrifying Wild West. Dutch Wilder and his crew are tasked with ambushing prospectors who have discovered gold in the unexplored black wood Forest. But first, they must find the horse thief who killed one of their men. Forced to accompany the gang through the treacherous terrain, she leads them deeper into darkness where they are attacked by the ancient malevolent entity. Before Cry 6 next year new franchise star Melissa Barrera then head towards netflix for the limited series “keep breathing“, a survival thriller which will be released on July 28.

In the six-episode limited series, “After her private plane crashes in the distant Canadian border, New York’s lone survivor and lawyer, Liv (Melissa Barrera), must battle both an unforgiving wilderness and past personal trauma to stay alive.”

Jeff Wilbusch, Austin Stowell, Juan Pablo Espinosaand Florence Lozano also star.

The official sequel to Andrew Trauckiit is the reefnew movie The Reef: Tracked swimming to Shudder this week, on digital/VOD and streaming on Shudder on July 29, 2022.

The Reef: Tracked will also be available in select theaters on the same day.

Written and directed by Andrew Traucki (black water) following his 2010 film, The Reef: Tracked stars Jeressa liana (“Vampire’s Diary”), Anne Truong (“Cowboy Bebop”), Saskia Archer (Boshack), Kate Lister (“Click Bait”) and Tim Ross (“Wonderland”).

“Are you afraid of the dark?” Nickelodeon’s reboot series is back for a new season this summer, with “Are You Afraid of the Dark? The Phantom Island” Premiering Saturday, July 30!

The new season will be the third in the series of reboots, which began in 2019 and continued last year with “Are You Afraid of the Dark: Curse of the Shadows”.

Produced by ACE Entertainment, the limited series “Are you afraid of the dark?” Ghost Island” will debut with a two-hour episode on Saturday July 30at 7 p.m. (ET)/PT) on Nickelodeon, with the remaining episodes airing Saturday August 6and August 13at 7 p.m. (ET)/PT).

The season “follows an all-new Midnight Society as they pursue what they thought would be a fun summer vacation on a resort island, until they learn something sinister that haunts the guests. the teaser just released, viewers are introduced to new members of the Midnight Society and get a glimpse of the horrors that await them on their vacation.

In the first episode, “The Tale of Room 13 / The Tale of the Teen Spirit,“Four best friends get more than they bargained for and encounter true terror locked in one of the bedrooms after checking into a hotel on a resort island. Then, as the kids try to enjoy the vacation summer, they are drawn back into the mystery of the island’s ghosts, which ultimately leads them to a terrifying and shocking revelation.

The new members of the Midnight Society are: Kayla, played by Telci Huynh (Modern Love, Drama Club); Max, played by Conor Sherry (The list of terminals, the devil you know); Leo, performed by Luca Padovan (You, school of rock the musical on Broadway); Summer, played by Dior Good John (Head of class); and Ferris, played by Luck Hurstfield (A million little things, good boys). Julian Curtis (Wish Man) also plays the role of Stanley Cranethe manager of the island hotel.
