2022 Broadcast Awards nominees revealed – News

The nominees for the 2022 Broadcast Awards have been announced. Hosted by the professional television magazine, the coveted awards feature a number of comedy-related shows in shortlists.

The list of the best comedy shows is as follows. Notably, it presents two new pilots – Dreaming Whilst Black and Ladybaby – among the list.

Don’t Hate The Playaz and The Ranganation appear in Best Entertainment category alongside I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here!, Come dance strictly, The masked singer and Too hot to handle it.

Staged is nominated for Best Lockdown Program.

Big Eats and Big Zuu’s Jerk were selected in the Best Multichannel Program category.

The unique dramatic comedy Together is up for the award for Best Original Program.

The Best Popular Factual Program category features Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back.

Roald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse, Sky’s special Christmas drama comedy, is nominated for Best Single Drama.

Meanwhile, the Best Children’s Program category includes Almost Never, Dodo, and The Rubbish World Of Dave Spud.
