Again with the MIA. My apologies. As far as life updates go, I am going to be a sophomore in college majoring in computer arts and graphic design. Quite excited about that. In fact, I've bought a new iMac to give me a headstart in what they use in the design world. I've been working on art for this site off and on. I have time occassionally to do so when I don't already have an art project due in school. I have lots of works in progress.

As far as the art update for this time around, I don't currently have any on my new computer. I can however send you a link to my photography on flickr.

Other than that, until next time. New layout is being worked on =)

So yes... It has been quite a while. Many, many apologies. Back in August, I started college and now I'm lucky to even get 10 minutes in photoshop. This thought depresses me. I miss my PS. Does anyone else know the strain of taking art classes in college? They kill you.

One lonely new artwork... And it's not even that good. Lack of time and inspiration played a part... But the piece Broken Heart was more of a personal outlet for me to let go of a guy I used to date. P.S. Don't date liars.

At school, I have more access to the lab computers that are faster than my computer and have the latest version of Photoshop so I may dabble in that. *sigh* I miss this world of art...

Heh, the date today is 666. Fun. Anyway, two new pieces to add. The first is of Adam Brody in Heartbreaker. I wanted to incorporate different textures and layer effects in this piece and I liked the end effect. I've tried to make a collage out of this pictures for ages and it has finally worked!

The next piece is of Audrey Tautou in Grace. I do adore Audrey so. Her work in Amelie was phenomenal and I enjoyed her in The DaVinci Code (which I thought was good! So many people disliked that movie, which kind of stumped me). This piece was more of working with white space and adding color. I kind of like this piece.

All the art used default filters and my own stock photos.

New affiliate. Give Waking Dream a visit. Her work is really unique and very pretty to look at. Go!

Oy vay. What a pain in the butt. I am on dial-up and every chance I get I've been uploading the old Buffy/Angel wallpapers but I still have over 60 to upload! I wish I had DSL! I can't live like this, I tell you! Soo, this was just an update to let you know how things stand. Any collage that is located on the imageshack.us server is viewable. if the link says its on the v-k.net server, it's not viewable. hover to see. sorry for any inconvenience!

P.S. I recently got back from San Francisco on a school trip! Definitely got snazzy photos from that. But lemme tell you, not all of California is as warm as you'd think, I had to wear a sweatshirt almost everyday!

Wow. My last update was so long ago that I cannot even remember. Perhaps around January? I can't believe it has been so long. Sincerest apologies. Life and school has been so hectic, you cannot believe. I am so close to being done with my senior year though! And I just got back from Hawaii this week, and lemme say it was gorgeous out there!

Anyway, since my last update, things got moved around and servers were switched so I had to reupload some of the art. I deleted the really bad and old art so that is why the # of art pieces went down. New layout! I just like it cause it's something new and fresh feeling. Teal is a pretty color too ;) Features Gwyneth Paltrow and the images are from bwgreyscale.com. Stock photos were my own (pictures taken in Hawaii). I'm still in the middle of uploading some of the art. So if you cannot access it right away, just check back later. I'm in the process of uploading it.

One new piece of art. Features Sandra Bullock and this piece has been a long time coming. I started it maybe two (?) years ago, and finally just finished it. Not just the most imaginative piece but I like it. Comments are appreciated.

Also, for some reason this wasn't in the archive, but Beautiful Death is a Buffy piece featuring the episode Prophecy Girl when Buffy is being killed by the master. Lyrics were Everclear's I Want to die a beautiful death.

I want to do more pieces and add more photography (esp. from my trip to Hawaii and pictures I did for my photography II and III class). Until next time!
